Sometimes graphic, sometimes surreal, always interesting, artist Missy Maxwell attempts to reign in her inherent need to create through photography, illustration, and mixed media art. She lives in Olympia, Washington where she is inspired by tall trees, majestic eagles, and open ocean. Missy also finds inspiration in experimenting with new mediums, techniques, and tools. She makes art every single day in a tiny Moleskine planner. When she isn't pouring her energy into her art, she can be found hiking and camping in the Pacific Northwest and sampling all the microbrews the area has to offer.
